Manuscript of the chorus “And with his stripes” from Handel’s Messiah transcribed by Beethoven, vocal parts only, without continuo; the final page with sketches in pencil for an “Amen” possibly for the Gloria of the Missa solemnis. 5 p. with three aditional blank pages, oblong folio, 91 bars written in brown ink on up to four systems per page, each of four staves with some additionals in pencil, a little browning and staining, a little paper loss in the margins not affecting the text, watermark “C & I Honig” [J/T/W paper type 49]
