You’ve found your article and now you need to double check to make sure that it is a peer-reviewed (also known as a Refereed) journal article.
Please follow these steps.
Step 1: Go to the Library Homepage (library.sjsu.edu)
Step 2: Under Tab Find Articles & Books, click on Electronic Journal Index
Step 3: Search for the Journal that your article was published in.
Step 4: Your Search Results will appear. Click on the Title details from ulrichsweb.com
Step 5: Look at the details for your Journal, specifically the field Refereed (also known as Peer-Reviewed). If YES, then your article is a peer-reviewed journal article. If no, then you have to search again.
