Library Resource to Verify a Journal's Legitimacy
SJSU Library subscribes to Cabell's Directory of Publishing Opportunities in multiple disciplines. These directories list legitimate and predatory journals under two hyperlinked categories: Journalytics and Predatory Reports. Journalytics show legitimate journals. Predatory journals are listed under Predatory Reports. Please note: These directories do not offer an exhaustive list of predatory journals as they grow in number rather rapidly. So whether you are using a journal as an information source or to publish your own work, be sure to watch this video.
