The San José State University Library Endowment was established to enhance the quality of the King Library Collection and provide support to librarians and library staff seeking professional development opportunities. The endowment supports the King Library's expansion of its collection in all areas, particularly in library and information science, in order to provide exceptional academic resources and a superior level of research services to the San José State University campus and greater community. Additionally, the endowment supports librarians and library staff with grants awards for professional development each year.
