Citing MLA Style
MLA (Modern Language Association) style is most commonly used to cite sources within the arts and humanities. Below are examples of in-text citations and citations on your Works Cited page:
- An In-Text Citation cites the author within the text of your paper at the point when you refer to that author's work.
Example of in-text citation:

… the author missed important behaviors in the character (O’Sullivan 26). |

the Works Cited Page is located at the end of your paper and lists all of the sources you cited in your paper.
