Get Access

Step1: Go to the NYTimes.com Access Website

Search for "San Jose State University" in the "Find School..." box. Click on the school name, then click the "Go" button. You'll be asked to log in to your SJSUOne account, if you haven't already.

Step 2: Create Your Account

Use your SJSU email address to create your account.

For security, we recommend that you pick a password other than your SJSUOne password.

Step 3: Confirm Your New Account

The first time you login, you'll be asked for a few details:

Are you a student or faculty/staff? If you're a student, choose your expected graduation year.

When you've completed the setup, you'll get a confirmation with your account expiration date:

The "Start Your Access" message shows your access expiration date.

Now you can use your account to log in to the NY Times website from anywhere!

There's an app for that

The NY Times has apps for Android and Mac.  Get help with apps here.

Create your SJSU access account online first; then use your account to log in to the app.

Sorry, access to the premium apps for the NYT Games and NYT Cooking is not part of the SJSU subscription.
