Research databases help us keep track of research that has already been published.
PsycInfo is an essential database for psychology students. It is the go-to resource when starting research for a research assignment or paper.
In the video examples below, I am using this sample research question:
How does social media contribute to online bullying?

Database Search Tips:

• Break down your research question into key concepts
• In the examples above,try using 'social media' and 'online bullying'
• When you begin searching in the database for your topic of interest, you will discover the keywords or terms that the database prefers for your topic
• For example, PsycInfo uses the term 'cyberbullying' instead of 'online bullying'
