Attendees experienced the musical traditions and sounds of instruments from all the seven South Asian countries through lecture-demonstration of vocal and instrumental compositions by local musicians from the community.

South Asians in Silicon Valley: Inaugural Reception

The inaugural reception was an opportunity for the South Asian community to meet the library leadership team and other members of the SJSU campus to discuss the 'South Asians in Silicon Valley' project. Attendees also viewed the exhibit that focused on four themes: food, religion, cricket, and activism.
