Call for Submissions

Submit your work for the SJSU Author, Artist, and Inventor Celebration! We invite SJSU faculty and staff who published a book, exhibited a significant creative work, or filed a patent between January 1 and December 31, 2025, to participate. Eligible submissions include scholarly and trade books, fiction, nonfiction, poetry, textbooks, anthologies/edited volumes, as well as significant works such as documentaries, plays, films, exhibits, designs, digital humanities projects, and musical works (self-published/vanity press books and course packs are not eligible).

Submission deadline: February 13, 2026 at 5:00 p.m.

Celebrate the achievements of SJSU faculty and staff who have made an impact in 2024!

Attendees enjoyed an evening of inspiration, connection, and recognition as we honored contributions in publishing, advocacy, art, and innovation. This event was held in partnership with SJSU Research Week.

Whether through publishing a book, showcasing groundbreaking advocacy and art, or pushing the boundaries of innovation with patent applications, we celebrate the SJSU faculty and staff who have shown creativity, dedication, and expertise in driving innovation forward.
