Student Computing Services

SCS will begin accepting requests for MacBooks, PC laptops, iPads, hotspots and webcams beginning February 15, 2021. Please note, it can take 4-10 days to fulfill a request due to mandatory material quarantine periods. 

When you request SJSU items for pickup, they will be put into the lockers on the following Monday, and you will receive an email with a barcode and pickup code from vending@fastenalsolutions.comYou cannot retrieve items from the lockers without this information, so have it ready on your phone or printed out when you arrive. You will scan the barcode or enter your pickup code on the keypad to open your locker. Requested items can be picked up beginning the next day, Tuesday, and will be available until the following Sunday.  

Lockers hours are:

Tuesday – Friday: 9am–6pm
Saturday/Sunday: 1pm–5pm
Monday: Closed

To return items to SCS, please email and tell us that you'd like to make an appointment to return equipment. Please included your Tower ID and the type of equipment you are returning and we will send you instructions.

You can also borrow laptops and other equipment, including webcams and hotspots, from SJSU's Instructional Resource Center.
