***PLEASE NOTE***
All SCS items (devices, accessories, and keys to the Presentation Practice Room and Recording Studio) need to be turned in to the SCS desk by no later than 5pm on Tuesday, December 16. If you have any items checked out, please make arrangements to return them by this date and time. Attempts for returns on behalf of others will not be accepted; the user who checked the items out on their Tower Card must be the one who returns them to SCS staff. There are no exceptions.
Also, please do not return items via the external or internal book drops. This will result in item damage and you being billed for damage or replacement fees. All items need to be returned in person to SCS staff.
Late returns may result in an academic hold being placed on your library account, so please avoid this unpleasantness and simply return our items on or before 5pm on Tuesday, December 16.
SCS will be closed Wednesday, December 17-Sunday, December 21. We will be open 1-5pm on Monday, December 22 and Tuesday, December 23. We will resume services after the holiday break and closure (December 24-January 4, 2026) on Monday, January 5.

SJSU students can borrow laptops, iPads, hotspots, and more for free from SCS, locatedon the 1st floor of the King Library at the Circulation Desk.
To check out equipment you must have a current Tower ID card. All SCS equipment loans(except semester-long laptops and tablets) are done in person and are on a first-come, first-served basis. Sorry, we can't hold or reserve equipment! See Lending Policies for more information.
