Two strands of Beethoven's hair, each approximately 2 in. in length, in a plastic pouch affixed an 8.5 x 11 presentation page. According to the auction listing, "Accompanied by several pages of provenance and documentation tracing the lock to Beethoven's fifteen-year-old student, Ferdinand Hiller, who evidently obtained it the morning following Beethoven's death in 1827." [NB: these are not strands from the Guevara Lock of Beethoven's Hair owned by the Beethoven Center in San Jose].
