Course: MUSC 147A, Beginning Conducting

Course Material: I would like to compile and write a coursepack for the beginning conducting course. The current textbook, The Modern Conductor, costs $103. In addition to the extreme cost of the current text, the music examples provided are not varied enough for the students enrolling in this course. I plan to add musical examples that are better suited to the needs of the students in the course. Students will be able to access the new conducting coursepack online from the SJSU faculty web page.
